Using loops

The folder button at the bottom right of the screen shows and hides the Library. Here you can find Audio Loops.

VIP also has MIDI Loops. Don't use these yet.

Double-click on folder names to open the folder of loops. The loops are organised by genre (Electronica, Latin, etc.).

Double-click a loop to demo it. Then drag it onto a track to add it to your song.

Timing

Make sure the loop lines up with the light grey grid. It's difficult to see sometimes!

This loop is in time. The start of it lines up with the grid and the bar numbers at the top:

This loop is out of time. It does not line up with the grid:

Looping a loop!

Hover your mouse over a loop rectangle. You should see a grey triangle at the top right.

At the top right of the rectangle is a loop triangle

Click and drag this triangle and it will repeat (loop) the audio:
